   Aciphex

Aciphex/Rabeprazole is used to treat conditions where the stomach produces too much acid, including ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Aciphex/Rabeprazole is used in combination with other medications.

   Nexium

Nexium is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) used to treat heartburn, or gastroesophageal reflux. It may be used in combination with two antibiotics to treat Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection and duodenal ulcers. It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.

   Prevacid

Prevacid (LANSOPRAZOLE) prevents the production of acid in the stomach. It reduces symptoms and prevents injury to the esophagus or stomach in patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) or ulcers. Lansoprazole is also useful in conditions that produce too much stomach acid such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Generic Prevacid capsules are not yet available.

   Prilosec

Prilosec is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) used to treat ulcers, heartburn, gastroesophageal reflux, or Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. It works by blocking acid production in the stomach. This medicine may be used in combination with antibiotics (e.g., amoxicillin, clarithromycin) to treat certain types of ulcers. It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.

   Ranitidine

Ranitidine reduces the amount of acid in your stomach. It is used to relieve symptoms of heartburn, indigestion and sour stomach. Ranitidine is also used to prevent heartburn from certain foods or beverages.
